California Life with Heather Dawson now brings the "Best" of California to Central Coast viewers
Uplifting news show, California Life with Heather Dawson, now airing on KOTR My11 Monterey:

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 27, 2009 /Broadcast PR News/ -- In an effort to put a positive spin on local news, weekly TV show, California Life with Heather Dawson, is now broadening its current distribution on KHIZ and KVMD in Los Angeles to include homes in Northern California.
Starting in May, viewers desperate for some good news are able to tune in every Sunday morning to KOTR My 11 Monterey, for weekly updates on California's best news stories and brightest residents.
According to California Life's executive producer and host, Heather Dawson, the show's expansion process is gaining steam due to the timely need for positive stories from California. The veteran news anchor remarks, "California seems so disheartened in the press, but I for one and proud to live here and want residents to share that sense of community and state pride."
California Life reporter Tom Jordan, took a road trip to Monterey to feature it the Hotel Pacific in the heart of Monterey's downtown for the show's "spotlight" segment, which gives historical look at popular tourist destinations in California.
