RTP Radio e Televisao de Portugal will air an interview globally featuring Rhode Island Attorney Rui P. Alves on January 25, 2010 about his political and social contributions to the Portuguese and Rhode Island communities as a native of Portugal.
PROVIDENCE, RI, January 23, 2010 /Broadcast PR News/ -- On January 25, 2010, Attorney Rui P. Alves will be honored for his political and social contributions to the Portuguese and Rhode Island communities in an interview being broadcast on RTP Radio e Televisao de Portugal. Attorney Alves is a native of Portugal who moved to the US at a young age, studied in both Portugal and the United States, and is now a prominent member of the Rhode Island legal and political communities.
The interview takes place at the Rhode Island State House and encompasses his upbringing in Portugal, moving to the US, his career in private law practices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and the challenges and benefits of being a Portuguese speaking lawyer in the United States. It also will focus on Attorney Alves current position and responsibilities as the Attorney to the Rhode Island Senate Finance Committee.
